New London, CT – The Lyman Allyn Art Museum announces the opening of The Land You Stand On, a powerful and visionary exhibition centering Indigenous expression and perspectives that extend beyond geographic and cultural borders. Bringing together award-winning Indigenous-identifying artists, the exhibition offers visitors an opportunity to encounter a broader perspective about arts integration and cultural awareness.

The Land You Stand On; Contemporary Art of Native and Indigenous Identity,  explores the concept of place-based belonging both historically and conceptually. Each artist contributes a distinct narrative and lived experience, inviting reflection on how land shapes art, identity, memory, and community.
